The Cinema of Ernst Lubitsch: Biography

Thankfully, many of director Ernst Lubitsch's great films are available to purchase or rent. Below I have listed titles currently available (to the best of my knowledge) with links to online stores that sell them.

Exciting News! Criterion has announced the "first-ever" Blu-ray edition of a Lubitsch film, to be released in December 2011.   I'm not sure why they chose "Design for Living" over "Trouble in Paradise" (generally regarded as the master's greatest film) but I'll take it!   I hope this means that we'll see more Lubitsch Blu-ray releases in the future.
